Is it the right time to move to an ambitious start up?

The hardest part of making a big move and leaving a comfort zone is knowing whether or not it will work out.

Having made a few leaps in my career I think you are never really ready or prepared but you will know it's the thing that you have to do.  All the other noise around having the right preparation or skill set will quiet down because you'll be on the most incredible race and journey in your lifetime.

One of my favourite quotes and one I look to when feeling like I'm pushing against a wall that won't move and I question the decisions I made that got me to that point is:

"We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organise and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win…"

We might not be your journey to the moon but I would encourage you to not wait to have all the perfect skill sets to start on a meaningful journey.
