Sales Specialist

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Person to join our growing team and help supercharge and build our sales pipeline and our client base. The role will be full-time and remote, for now. 

In this position, you will be responsible to work throughout the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting through to onboarding and maintaining a live Client, targeting SMEs as well as other sizeable organisations all over the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and maintain the entire sales cycle
  • Responsible for both outbound and inbound prospecting
  • Qualify and aim to convert all leads to live clients
  • Support app users and clients throughout the onboarding and integration process
  • Build and support the sales pipeline with the sales team
  • Achieve and surpass personal and company targets
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive client and partner relationships
  • Maintain the Muse CRM to ensure sales activity reports are up to date and accurate
  • Continuously evaluate and propose improvements in current sales processes
  • Feedback user experiences to the internal team for ongoing development
  • Act as a brand ambassador and advocate of Muse

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with SMEs in the fintech industry or an e-commerce channel in a sales/account management/business development role, ideally in a startup environment
  • Must have experience in Invoice Finance 
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or International Business
  • Experience working with CRM (preferably Hubspot) and email automation tools
  • The ability to manage your own priorities and also work collaboratively across all teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about providing the best customer experience

Lead Developer

Location: Madeira, Portugal

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a skilled and passionate full-stack developer, based in Madeira, Portugal who can take the lead on various current and future projects aimed at creating a best in class app and service. As a key member of the team on our journey to success, you will be confident in the recommendations you make for project architecture and be able to communicate technical requirements to non-technical team members.

This is the perfect role for a full-stack developer who has experience working on a range of projects and is looking to work with an aspirational start-up with team members based worldwide, as well as mentor future development hires. The ideal person for this role will be excited to take ownership of the technology, look to make their mark on a high-growth startup and take increasing responsibility within the company.

How you’ll contribute

The main responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Building systems from scratch, converting vision into reality
  • Knowing the best technology to use for a wide variety of projects
  • Overseeing support and maintenance of the Muse app
  • Ensuring that our tech is top quality and future-proofed for scaling
  • Supporting the hiring and growth of our internal development team

You should apply if have:

  • Experience with the Flutter UI software development kit
  • Strong knowledge of OOP
  • Five years’ experience of backend development for complex mobile and web applications
  • A strong understanding of JavaScript, as well as Node.js and Typescript development
  • Experience using Firebase and Google Cloud
  • Proven experience of architecture concepts and design patterns
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • CI/CD delivery and standard Git/Gitlab workflow experience
  • Experience of end-to-end secure SDLC including TDD

You should also have experience:

  • Conducting your own entrepreneurial projects in the past
  • Working for at least three years in a dynamic/startup environment
  • Leading multiple mobile and web development projects
  • Working with a cross-functional team
